I've never been a great one for any kind of monster movie, and zombies have always struck me as especially unconvincing monsters. They lurch around at walking pace with their arms stuck out in front of them, making unintelligible noises; their clothes are usually ripped, and there's blood and mess all over their faces. What do they do when when they're not chasing lunch? Do they watch television, read a book, meditate? I'm just wondering. Back to the film. Jesse Eisenberg (also good in Adventureland) and Woody Harrelson team up with a couple of girls in a post-apocalyptic landscape where zoms roam the streets, looking for increasingly rare (pun intended) human meat. It's short, amusing, not very scary and has an unexpected cameo appearance - unless of course you know who the star is, in which case it won't be a surprise.
