YOU CAN COUNT ON ME (2000). I recommend this to people who think they’ve seen everything, because this is a film that was mainly overlooked when it was released. Laura Linney was Oscar nominated for her role as a single mother raising her son, and coping with a new boss at the bank where she works. Life is then made more complicated by the arrival of her brother (Mark Ruffalo), who is busy wasting his life. A very excellent film.
