THE YES MAN (2008). For my sins, I’m a Jim Carrey fan, but was unable to be a wholehearted admirer of this. It’s a concept film – guy who’s negative about life is persuaded to say yes to everything – and JC works hard at making it hilarious. Too hard if I’m honest. And much as I like Chloe Sevigny, she’s way too young for him as a love interest.
