THE WEDDING BANQUET (1993). The film that brought Ang Lee to the attention of the world is set in New York, where a young Taiwanese man lives happily with his boyfriend. But when his parents come to visit to help him find a wife, he has to persuade a girl to pretend to be his fiancée. Lovely, sweet-natured comedy.

On the Video Front

On The Video Front is Bath’s longest running and most successful dvd rental shop. It opened in 1986, and is still going strong. We open at 11 in the morning and close at 8 in the evening, Monday to Saturday. On Sundays we are open from 2 till 8. Our staff are well informed, helpful and friendly. We have a great range of films, old and new, and new titles arrive every week.
