Cheesy smiles, and sickening sentimentality are the order of the day (the 14th, duh), in this multi-narrative, crammed-with-names, empty-headed pile of of old junk. And I'm being polite.
Never trust a film that is released for a specific date in the year (Christmas, Easter, Halloween etc). Never trust a film that has lots of famous people in it, who only appear briefly. It's like an allstar football team; everyone poses, no one pulls their weight. This is a machine-tooled demographically-designed product, designed without an ounce of romance to extract money from people trying to find a way to say I Love You to their nearest and dearest. You know what. Just say it. And if you want to go to the movies, go and see Up In The Air, or Precious. This is just pap.
