THE VIRGIN SUICIDES (1999). Strange and interesting film about a family – husband, wife and five beautiful daughters – living in the suburbs of Michigan in the 70s. The girls live a very protected life and are objects of unattainable fascination to the boys in the neighbourhood. The title gives a clue as to the problems within the family.
