VAN HELSING (2004). Even by the low standards of scifi comic book fantasy films, this is pretty poor stuff. Hugh Jackman is Van Helsing (a character from Dracula who has been co-opted and interfered with for the benefit of this film), and Kate Beckinsale pouts in black leather as his colleague/squeeze. Just don’t bother.
