THE USUAL SUSPECTS (1995). There are some films you can watch over and over, because you always think of them with affection. This is such a film. Five petty criminals are locked up in a cell together and plan a crime. From this acorn, a pretty big oak tree grows, in a film which jumps back and forth in time as well as messing with our heads in terms of what we can and can’t believe. Attempts to understand it are probably futile.
