THE UPSIDE OF ANGER (2005). There aren’t many parts for actors in their 40s and 50s who aren’t quite at the top of the tree, and although this is no masterpiece, it has its moments. Joan Allen is an angry abandoned wife with children, who has to deal with boozy neighbour and boyfriend Kevin Costner, as well as her own alcoholic tendencies and four daughters who need care and attention.
