THE UNBEARABLE LIGHTNESS OF BEING (1988). This should have been something special; an intriguing and unusual book by Czech writer Milan Kundera adapted into a film starring Daniel Day Lewis, Juliette Binoche and Lena Olin. And although it is occasionally enjoyable, it is not a fully realised film, and dear Dan is a bit young for the part. Worth watching, but less so than it might have been.
