24 HOUR PARTY PEOPLE (2002). Tony Wilson was a TV presenter, journalist, record producer and all round Mancunian celeb. Played by Steve Coogan, he’s aware of the self-parody, passionate about post-punk, and very funny. The film has energy to burn, and fantastic cast including Paddy Considine and Andy Serkis.
