300 (2006). Homoerotic comic book version of the battle of Thermopylae in which a small number of Spartans and their allies held off the hordes of Persia. Call me pedantic, but I don’t think that Greek warriors dressed in posing pouches, or that there were creatures from Lord of the Rings among the enemy. It’s not clever, it’s a very silly film.
