10,000 BC (2008). It would be unrealistic to expect Roland Emmerich to come up with a historically plausible account of life that far in the past, but even so, this film is remarkable for the liberties it takes with known fact. The story roams promiscuously from cavemen to mammoths and sabre tooth tigers to the Egyptian pyramids for no better reason than to add to the spectacle. Pity it forgot to include any characters or plot line.
