THE TAILOR OF PANAMA (2001). Based on a John Le Carre novel, this film stars Pierce Brosnan and Geoffrey Rush. Brosnan is an ex MI6 agent trying to get back inside the tent, though currently exiled to Panama. Rush is a tailor to the rich and successful, though he finds it hard to get people to pay for what they order. He's married to Jamie Lee Curtis, who works for the Panamanian President and they have a son played by Daniel Radcliffe before he became Harry Potter.
The cast also includes the wonderful Brendan Gleeson, Harold Pinter and a number of other well known names and faces. The story follows familiar Le Carre lines of spies and treachery, all tied up with questions of morality and loyalty, and it's engaging without being memorable. Directed by John Boorman.
