TEA WITH MUSSOLINI (1999). This belongs to a certain genre of movies that might be described as Female Oriented Films – Italian sub section. Set in the period of the porky fascist dictator, we meet a group of middle aged English and American ladies trying to maintain their precarious dignity in the middle of change. Cher, Joan Plowright, Maggie Smith and Judi Dench are the best known faces.
