THE TANGO LESSON (1997). I’m not always an admirer of Sally Potter’s films, which can err on the side of pretentious, but in this semi-autobiographical piece, she plays herself as a film director who decides to learn to tango, which is (trust me) the hardest as well the sexiest dance in the world. And she does a great job.
