TALK TO HER (2002). This is one of the most perfect films I’ve ever seen. Almodovar hit a pinnacle of excellence I doubt he will ever achieve again. The story concerns two women in hospital in an apparently incurable state and the men who love them, but this is far from conventional in narrative, structure or morality. Sublimely filmed, the music is gorgeous, the acting unforgettable and not a jot should be changed.
