SCENES FROM A MARRIAGE (1973). Bergman’s Oscar winning film is nothing more or less than what it says in the title; a dissection, with compassion and insight, of the marriage between Liv Ullman and Erland Josephson. Woody Allen can only dream of making a film a tenth as good. Every couple should watch it.
