SCHOOL TIES (1992). One of those “didn’t they look young in those days?” films, set at a posh American school where Brendan Fraser is persecuted for being Jewish (it’s the 50s) by – among others – Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, before they made Good Will Hunting. It’s slightly preferable to Dead Poets Society and Scent Of A Woman because it doesn't suffer from Oscar-hunting actor grandstanding, and it does deal with prejudice.
