SCHOOL OF ROCK (2003). The high point of Jack Black’s career, which he will probably never reach again. The part of the wannabe rock star pretending to be a teacher is perfect for him because it allows him to show the childishness, the idiocy and the good nature that are key to his success; given that the part was written for him, it’s not surprising that he's good in it. Best of all, the film is funny, and how rare is that.
