RACHEL GETTING MARRIED (2008). It’s been a long time since Jonathan Demme made anything worthwhile, so it’s a real pleasure to see him back on form. This loose-limbed family wedding film, features a superb performance from Anne Hathaway as the dysfunctional sister of a bride to be who is released from rehab for the wedding. All the family ghosts come out of the closet, but not in a nauseating way. Recommended.
