RABBIT PROOF FENCE (2002). Films based on true stories can be tedious, but this one is far from dull. Two aboriginal sisters and their cousin are unwillingly separated from their family – ‘for their own good’. They decide to head home, following the fence of the title, while nasty old Kenneth Branagh tries to track them down. Music by Peter Gabriel.
