QUEST FOR FIRE (1981). Worthy but not especially successful attempt to make a plausible film about the very early human race (about 80,000 years ago). When a tribe has its fire stolen from them, they have to send a party to get it back. Or they die. The trouble is that because they haven’t invented language, everyone grunts all the time.
