Is there something nasty in the bedroom? It's amazing what you can do by suggesting everything and showing nothing. Like sex on screen, the best horror films imply rather than reveal.
Not that this is especially good, but its success is impressive given that it was made for peanuts and features unknowns. Very Blair Witch, but ultimately not as effective since all the (in)action is restricted to a single bedroom where a couple are trying to work out what is going bump in the night.
