OPEN YOUR EYES (1997). Remade (very badly) as Vanilla Sky by Cameron Crowe, this is the original, directed by Alejandro Amenabar. Both films star Penelope Cruz in the same role. She plays a young woman who is desired by two men. One of them, Cesar is the victim of a car crash at the hands of his jealous ex-, and as a result is badly disfigured.
After that, you're own your own. I've seen both versions of the story and I still don't pretend to understand what's going on, but if you have to watch one of the two, make it this one.
