ONCE WERE WARRIORS (1994). Powerful New Zealand movie about the effect of modern life on a Maori man and his family as he struggles to sustain his manhood. This results in his spending all his time and money in the pub, and beating up anyone who disagrees with him (including his long suffering wife).
