Night of the Hunter, The

THE NIGHT OF THE HUNTER (1955). A masterpiece of atmosphere and terror, this is the only film directed by Charles Laughton, one of the greatest screen actors of all time, Robert Mitchum is the preacher who frightens the life out of two kids who he pursues, but it’s the amazing camerawork that makes this so memorable. A must see.

On The Video Front is Bath’s longest running and most successful dvd rental shop. It opened in 1986, and is still going strong. We open at 11 in the morning and close at 8 in the evening, Monday to Saturday. On Sundays we are open from 2 till 8. Our staff are well informed, helpful and friendly. We have a great range of films, old and new, and new titles arrive every week.
