THE MATRIX (1999/03/03). There are 3 films in this trilogy, but the second two are rubbish, long and dull, so it’s really only the first film that’s worth your attention. Keanu Reeves is our hero, and for once he’s bearable, as the guy who realises that the world he lives in is an artificial construct created by robots. Enticed by Carrie Ann Moss, he joins the resistance led by Laurence Fishburne.
