MANHUNTER (1986). The first Hannibal Lecter film, and the only one without Anthony Hopkins. Instead Brian Cox plays the cellbound psychopath (very well) who gives unhelpful advice to William Petersen. Filmed later (and much worse) as Red Dragon.
