THE LAST OF THE MOHICANS (1992). I can watch this film any time of day or night. Most of Michael Mann’s films may be bloated and self indulgent, but I love him for this one. Beyond logic. Daniel Day Lewis as Hawkeye is the coolest thing in the forest as he reluctantly allies himself with the British soldiers in order to save the woman he loves. Wonderfully romantic, full of great action sequences and unmissable.
