Kes

8/10

KES (1969). Still Ken Loach’s most famous film, and one that retains its power 40 years on. Kes is the name of the kestrel caught and trained by a young kid in a northern town who lives with his dad and overbearing brother. Kes is his only friend in a hostile world. The film has so many memorable scenes and should be watched by everyone of all ages.
