JULES ET JIM (1962). One of the key films of the French New Wave, set in France before WW1, then in France and Germany after the war. Jules and Jim are friends, but life becomes complicated when they met Jeanne Moreau and both fall in love with her. The eternal triangle swings one way and another, but takes our emotions with us. Directed by Francois Truffaut, it remains a classic that demands to be seen.
