IN THE MOOD FOR LOVE (2001). While I am not entirely convinced that Wong Kar Wai is one of the greatest film directors alive (as many claim) especially after My Blueberry Nights, this is an exquisite and memorable film, about a man and a woman in Hong Kong in 1962 whose relationship is both seductive and peculiar. They are convinced that their respective spouses are having an affair with each other, and conduct a non-sexual courtship of their own. Vey beautiful.
