IN THE LINE OF FIRE (1993). Clint Eastwood is a grizzled presidential bodyguard whose one failure has left him with a guilty conscience. John Malkovich is the shape-shifting villain who’s trying to destroy both Eastwood and the president. For some reason, poor Rene Russo is introduced as love interest with someone 30 years older than her. As thrillers go, you could do a lot worse.
