IF… (1968). I saw this film when it was first released , and it made a huge impression on me since I was at a school that closely resembled the school in the film – a traditional hierarchical public school with its mind set firmly on the past. Malcolm McDowell stars as the rebellious schoolboy/teenager whose determination to sabotage the foundations of the institution go to lengths beyond anything I dreamed of. See it.
