HANCOCK (2008). Once upon a time there was a truly dark film script about a dysfunctional superhero; unfortunately it fell into the hands of Superbland aka Will Smith, and all the edge was removed to be replaced by lots of special effects and an absurd plot twist. The results are best avoided.
