GHOST (1990). I know I shouldn’t make cracks about the late lamented Mr Swayze, but who cares? Can someone ask him if he would let us know what it’s like beyond the golden light? Is Demi Moore there? Or just Whoopi Goldberg? The success of a film like this is a sure sign that most cinemagoers don’t know shit – or more accurately, they love shit, and the soppier the better. The most successful film about pottery in history.
