FERMAT’S ROOM (2007). Dark Hitchcockian thrillers tend to be crap: either slavishly in hock to shots of spiral staircases & famous monuments or desperate to prove their tough-guy credentials. This is neither, just a clever-clever moral fable with a Macguffin worthy of Hitch himself. Overly stylised but very good.
