FATAL ATTRACTION (1987). I can see why this film was so popular – sex and violence with guilt and adultery thrown in is an enticing recipe for many - but the combination of Michael Douglas, Glenn Close and a large dollop of misogyny and a sieve-like plot put me right off. And it set off a whole slew of films with a similar theme. File under S for Stupid.
