50 DEAD MEN WALKING (2008). BOATS. The title signifies the fact that without Martin McGartland, an IRA informant, 50 people would be dead. McGartland was a young Irish lad picked up by the Special Branch and persuaded to join the IRA and inform on them. He’s alive today but in hiding.
