ENDURING LOVE (2004). Ian McEwan’s success as a novelist is baffling, even more so is the fact that people try and make films of his books, Much as I love Daniel Craig, he is unable to make this work. As a result of trying (and failing) to rescue a man in a balloon accident, he acquires Rhys Ifans as a stalker. I never really understood the plot, but nor did I care.
