EDGE OF LOVE (2008). Matthew Rhys plays Dylan Thomas in a film about his relationships with two women – one his wife (Sienna Miller), the other his former lover played by Keira Knightley who subsequently marries a solider (Cillian Murphy). In some ways it’s like a more modern version of Carrington, and is quite well made and acted, but it lacks some vital core of emotional connection, perhaps because none of the characters is especially sympathetic.
