EASY VIRTUE (2008). What might have been a rather routine Noel Coward adaptation is transformed into something more memorable by the performances of Colin Firth and Kristin Scott Thomas as an unhappy middle aged couple, whose son brings home an older American widow, who is – to most eyes – thoroughly unsuitable. Give this film a go, and be surprised.
