DON’T LOOK NOW (1973). Not really a horror film, but there aren’t many other movies that will unsettle and scare you so badly. Set in Venice where the grieving parents of a dead child (Donald Sutherland and Julie Christie) have gone, it is a masterpiece of atmosphere and anxiety. Make sure you’ve got someone to hold hands with.
