DEAD MEN DON’T WEAR PLAID (1982). An inspired idea from Steve Martin and Rob Reiner – a private eye movie set in the 40s in black and white where most of the supporting characters are played by clips of old movies – Bogart, Bergman, Mitchum, Cagney and so on. Genuinely funny, as Rigby Reardon tris to solve a crime, but keeps finding time to readjust the breasts of Rachel Ward – ‘they were out of wack’. See it.
