DAZED AND CONFUSED (1993). Richard Linklater’s film has achieved cult status despite its lack of success when it was released – partly because it features actors like Ben Affleck and Matthew McConoughey who became more famous later, and partly because it represents the Animal House ‘fuck school’ ethos which is so beloved of everyone who went to school – or is still there. I found it rather confusing and I was more dazed than amazed.
