DAYS OF GLORY/INDIGÈNES (2006). BOATS. Most war movies omit the fact that a large number of the troops were black. The French forces that fought in Europe against the Germans include men from North Africa, who are the central characters of this absorbing and well made film, which did achieve belated recognition for their services.
