THE DA VINCI CODE (2006). This is a bad film. Badly acted, badly directed, based on a bad book, with bad hairstyles, bad editing, bad music and a bad underlying message. Can I be any clearer? Tom Hanks should be ashamed of himself (and sack his hairdresser), as should anyone who bought the book, watched the film, or is seduced by pseudo-religious mumbo jumbo whose popularity should worry anyone who believes that Mankind is superior to other species. Not on this evidence.
