DAVE (1993). At his best, Kevin Kline has an infectious charm, a genial everyman who can play pretty much anyone. Here he is just that; an ordinary bloke who happens to resemble the president, which is insignificant until the real prez is taken extremely poorly, and a stand in is needed. Complications ensue, not least because Sigourney Weaver (wife of president) doesn’t know about the swap, and she is mightily pissed off with her real husband.
