CHARLIE & THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY (2005). Tim Burton and Johnny Depp have made a lot of films together, most of them mediocre. But this 2nd adaptation of Roald Dahl’s story is a success. Depp captures the slightly creepy quality of W. Wonka, his sadism and love of anarchy, and the film appeals to children and adults alike.
